Job Description

Administration:

  • Complete all the paperwork correctly the first time
  • Complete F&I Control Log
  • Set annual goals both team and individual, strive to achieve these goals
  • Monitor performance

Marketing:

  • Offer the protective products to the customer
  • Be available for T/O’s from Sales Department for both the close and finance conversion
  • Product knowledge
  • Obtain and maintain proper insurance licenses
  • Know competitive products and lending sources


Managerial:

  • Verify the information on the customer, the figures, and the commitment
  • Manage the completion of credit applications
  • Verify insurance
  • Collect all down payments
  • Arrange financing
  • Establish and maintain lender relations
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings
  • Train, motivate, and educate the sales staff
  • Help create and implement contest and spiffs to increase productivity

Professionalism:

  • Continuing education
  • Personal work habits and proper appearance
  • Proper disclosure of all documents
  • AFIP Certification
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Build, maintain, and constantly improve department relations with other departments

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to identify the problem quickly.
  • Good knowledge of automobiles.
  • Effective analytical and communication skills.
  • Effective people skills
  • Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
  • Leadership quality

Job Requirements:

  • Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Finance background preferred
  • Strong background in business, mathematics & marketing
  • 2 years automotive sales experience
  • 1 year in a dealership management position
  • Superior customer interaction skills
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
  • Available evenings and weekends
  • All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license6
